Installation of generators at various housing authority sites. Provide a 200 KW trailer mounted generator for the duration of this project which the contractor will connect to the existing building to ensure minimal disruption to standby power. Generator to be moved by contractor from site as work progresses during course of this project. Remove existing chain link fencing, gates and post to allow unobstructed access during course of work. Provide 6' temporary fence panels for perimeter of worksite until new fence is installed. Contractor to disconnect generator and provide crane as need for the removal of generator from the existing pad and boomed onto truck as described in item 5 below. The existing generators will be transferred to other public agency via interlocal agreement. That agency will provide truck or trailer for offsite removal of the generator which will be coordinated by BHA. Once generator has been removed from pad, the contractor is to insure that underground cable conduit lines up with the generator connection point. If the underground conduit does not match up with the generator connection point the contractor is responsible for saw cutting and breaking up the slab as needed, run conduit from existing slab location to generator connection point, pour 4000psi concrete as needed thickness to match existing slab. Contractor to remove all existing underground cables and run new direct "homerun" cables from generator connection point to transfer switch. Splicing cables is not acceptable. Once slab work is finished and cables are run from point to point the contractor is to coordinate the new generator delivery with his rigger and set the new generator in place. Contractor to carefully remove existing transfer switch and set aside for pickup by public agency which took possesion of the old generator. Contractor to complete connection of generator to transfer switch at which time the trailer mounted backup generator can be disconnected. Contractor to complete gas connection from existing supply line to unit. Supply and install new 6' perimeter black vinyl coated chain link fencing with privacy slats, also new galvanized corner post, line post, gate post, top rail, bottom rail and center rail. Supply and install new gates to match and laid out as needed. The size and number of gates for each location will be sent out as addendum to all contractors after walk through. Rake and reseed work area as needed. Contractor is responsible for disposal of all work related debris. Concrete walkways to generator pads may be extended, this will be discussed and determined at the walk throughs. If needed an addendum will follow with square foot areas and specs for each location.
