Promote the acquisition, new construction, and acquisition/rehabilitation of supportive housing and will also provide up to 218 housing choice, mainstream and/or veterans affairs supportive housing project based vouchers for extremely low-income households who are homeless.

Seeking developers who provide permanent supportive housing (psh) projects that need funding for acquisition or rehabilitation, or acquisition and rehabilitation of motels, hotels, hostels, apartments or homes, assisted living residences, manufactured housing, commercial properties, and other buildings with existing uses that could be converted to permanent supportive housing (psh).

The purpose of the 2016 Permanent Supportive Housing Notice of Funding Availability – addendum is to make available up to an additional four million dollars in County Housing Successor Agency funds and/or Federal HOME Investment Partnerships Program funds to promote the acquisition, new construction and acquisition/rehabilitation of Permanent Supportive Housing and an additional 100 Project-Based Vouchers to Orange County’s extremely low-income households who are homeless.
