The ETPP grants will be awarded to develop and implement projects that accelerate pathways to employment for populations facing significant employment barriers into high-demand occupations for good-quality jobs. The Employment Development Department (EDD) is announcing the availability of up to $16.3 million in the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) Title I Governor’s discretionary funds for an Employment Training Pathways for Target Populations (ETP-TP) Program Solicitation for Proposals (SFP). The ETP-TP grants will be awarded to develop and implement projects that accelerate pathways to employment for populations facing significant employment barriers into high-demand occupations for good-quality jobs. The ETP-TP will develop skill-based pathways by integrating education and workforce training programs to align with the specific needs of the state’s strategic industry sectors.
Hawaii Department of Labor and Industrial Relations
Procure training services for calendar years 2026-2028 to upgrade the skills of incumbent workers under the employment and training fund (ETF) program.
Los Angeles County Workforce Development, Aging & Community Service
Provide transitional or permanent employment and training services to a transitional workforce residing in county, which includes, but is not limited to, those under-employed or hard-to-employ persons that may be homeless, formerly incarcerated, or those who have faced significant barriers to employment.
