Areas included within the facility include administration offices with supporting functions, classrooms, brief/debrief rooms, and storage space for T-7A pilot flight training simulator. High-bay simulator bays are needed to accommodate the appropriate clearances for the two Aircrew Training Devices (ATD), specifically three Weapons System Trainers (WST) and three Operational Flight Trainers (OFT). An insulated metal wall panel system is provided at the main front and back entry, in addition to segments above doorways to the simulator rooms. Full-height masonry walls consisting of both split-face and ground face concrete masonry unit (CMU) are provided at select areas. Exterior fenestration will consist of aluminum windows with low-e vision panels and spandrel glass. The roof systems shall consist of a low-sloped single-ply roof membrane and a steep-sloped standing seam metal roof. Supporting facilities include all utilities, site improvements, pavements, and communications necessary to make a complete and useable facility. The area communications network will need to be upgraded to support the new flight simulator and associated equipment.
