City-County Building Air Handler Unit #7 Upgrades

Project consists of replacement of air handler unit.

Albany State University

Replace the existing air handlers and terminal units serving the library. Upgrade existing BMS to support air handler upgrades and new sequence of operations. Remove existing abandoned liquid cooled chiller, cooling tower and associated pumps. Installation of new building chilled water pumps to circulate chilled water from central energy plant to the building. Perform electrical and plumbing work in support of demolition of existing HVAC and installation of new HVAC systems. Protect existing floors, finishes and building during the HVAC upgrades.

Decommission, remove and legally dispose of two (2) existing warm-air heating, ventilating and air-conditioning (HVAC) air handler units (ahus), and related equipment, and furnish, install and commission two (2) new HVAC ahu and related equipment to caltrans.
