Campus Wide Fire Alarm Replacement

The project to replace the fire alarm and mass notification panels shall include the following: The project shall replace the existing EST-3 fire alarm panels and mass notification devices with new fire alarm panels and mass notification devices that are EST-4 or approved equal. Contractor shall replace any fire alarm and mass notification system devices that are not compatible with the EST-4 or approved equal system and make any, and all wiring and conduit changes that are required by switching systems. Contractor shall provide and install a new fiber optic patch panel in Bldg. 17-B and Bldg. 18-B, running a 12-pair single mode fiber optic cable between the two. New fiber optic cable must be installed at a minimum of twelve inches (12) from existing fire alarm fiber optic cable. See attached file.
