BR 2025(478) Bridge Replacement County Road 289

The scope of the project includes reconstructing a portion of FR 289, removing the existing bridge and constructing a new single-span bridge over Tonto Creek including new sidewalk and reconstruction of the Horton Springs Parking Lot. This project includes removal of the existing two-span bridge, including removal of the existing pier. The project also includes channel grading in Tonto Creek. The new roadway and bridge will be constructed East of the existing alignment (upstream of the existing bridge) to minimize impacts to public traffic.

Kansas Turnpike Authority

Project is to replace br. 56.727 (prairie creek) on i-35 in county. Work includes bridge rehabilitation, grading and surfacing, and all other work.

Cole County

Work includes removals, clearing and grubbing, grading, excavating, bridge construction, asphalt pavement, guardrail, rock blanket, pavement marking, seeding and mulching, erosion control and other miscellaneous work necessary to remove and replace the bridge road bridge. Also includes 3,920 SY of 6" depth subgrade compaction; 125 SY of bridge approach slab (minor); 958 LF of MGS guardrail; 1,486 LF of permanent fence; see attached file.
