Audubon Red Wing Wildlife League Cannon River Tree Planting

Tree planting project The planting site is a LINEAR 2-mile loop of the Cannon River with trees planted on the top of both stream banks. Trees will be planted at 10 - 20 foot spacing. Total number of 1000 trees. Tree tubes, stakes, and wooden dowels. Tree species include river birch, sycamore, cottonwood, and swamp white oak. A flat bottom boat will be required to access the site.
