The term of any Master Purchasing Agreement ("Agreement") awarded as a result of this RFP will commence upon execution of the Agreement and will be for a period of 5 years (the "Initial Term") with 5 optional one (1) year extensions] (the “Renewal Terms”), at the sole discretion of the UC, for a total of 10 years.

Fleet Management Services (“RFP”) on behalf of itself and its operating agencies, which are: MTA New York City Transit (including MTA Staten Island Railway and Manhattan and Bronx Surface Transit Operating Authority) and Staten Island Passenger Railroad Operations, MTA Long Island Rail Road, MTA Metro-North Railroad, MTA Triborough Bridge and Tunnel Authority, and MTA Bus Company (“Operating Agencies”). In the aggregate, the MTA spends approx. $23 million annually on Fleet Management Services distributed across its Operating Agencies and their respective non-revenue fleets. These services include but may not be limited to: administration and systematized tracking of Light, Medium, Heavy maintenance, repairs, roadside assistance and towing, data tracking and reporting, telematics services and driver safety training and related coursework.
