This project will upgrade the fire alarm system on the Vancouver campus to modernize to a voice system. Edwards EST-3 Fire Alarm system installed in 2003. Upgrade Vancouver Campus fire alarm system to EST-4 and add voice. Including, but not limited to; Completing the campus fiber loop in a duct bank: Test network before integration. Main control equipment installation: Main control equipment shall be located at building 3 boiler plant; FACP with integrated Network Voice Command; FireWorks Station Computer, UL listed, with a built-in network card; Two monitors and printer; Cellular digital alarm transmitter. Replacement of the fire alarm system due to end of life. The project will include replacement of detection and signaling devices including duct detectors, end devices, power supplies, batteries, relays, panels and cabling as needed. The new fire alarm will be fully code compliant with voice evacuation.
