Amazon web services (aws)/iaas solution: The contractor shall provide a cost-effective infrastructure hosted in AWS GovCloud-West and US-East regions that meets Federal IT security requirements and utilizes industry standards and best practices that meet or exceed the following criteria. Subtask 1.1 Transition AWS Ownership from Incumbent Contractor (Base Year Only) The contractor shall assume AWS account ownership from incumbent contractor, including gaining full control of all IES owned system resources and accounts hosted in AWS that comprise the IES Data Center. This is expected to take no longer than 4 weeks. Subtask 1.2 Provide AWS Cloud Services Responsive to Usage Demands: In the base year, and in all subsequent option years, the contractor shall: Provide AWS cloud services that are currently utilized in the IES Data Center, as well as providing the ability to expand AWS services as usage demands change over time. Provide access to AWS cloud services that meets or exceeds Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA) requirements for information systems categorized as FIPS-199 defined Moderate and complies with the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Process (FedRAMP) requirements. The contractor shall provide all personnel, materials, services, and facilities necessary for the project and perform the tasks as described below. The scope of this contract includes, either as core or optional tasks as specified below, NPSAS, BPS, B&B, and NCES surveys that cover postsecondary education, as well as work to answer questions about past studies or maintain datasets from past studies. The main tasks include: Task 1: Project Management Task 2: Meetings, Travel, and Technical Review Panels Task 3: 2027-28 National Postsecondary Student Aid Study (NPSAS:28) Task 4: Ad Hoc Information Requests. Task 1. Management: The contractor shall manage this IPEDS project in an efficient manner that fosters communications with staff, the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR), and potential users of the data. Subtask 1.1 Post Award Conference Package Within two (2) weeks after contract award (or funding in subsequent years), the contractor’s project director and other key project staff as identified in the proposal shall meet with the Contracting Officer, the Contract Specialist, the COR, and other appropriate ED staff to review the overall contract tasks, to identify potential problems and possible solutions, and to discuss areas of concern related to the proposed project staffing plan and other management requirements.
